Join us as we watch and discuss the stories told by the alumni of ANSD. Participants will learn about racism in Alabama and how it has influenced the field of interpreting. 

Interpreters will be provided. Any other accommodation request- email central@alrid.org by February 20, 2021. 

Appearances: Dr. Carolyn McCaskill and Alabama School for the Negro Deaf Students

Target Audience: ASL Interpreters, Interpreting Students, Teachers of the Deaf, and the Deaf Community

If asked, you must prove membership to ALRID or ALBDA. 

Your registration is not complete until payment is made. Deadline to register is February 24, 2021. If you pay through check, payment must be received by February 24, 2021. 

Upon registration, you understand that there are no refunds even if the workshop is cancelled. ALRID is not responsible for participants' technology or ability to access the workshops, aside from ALRID providing the link. No refunds will be issued due to technological problems on the part of the participants.
