FOR THE DEAF

This workshop dives deeper into the world of fingerspelling and numbers to determine why it is so difficult to read them in ASL and convey information more clearly. We will investigate some interesting English spellings of words as well as the 3 finger - spelling ASL technique often used by Deaf individuals. In the numbers area, we will look at the variations of signs for numbers depending on their usage such as calendar concepts, ages, time, height, weight, etc. . . This workshop will include hands-on practice to better improve our skills in this area.
