Identify best practice strategies for interpreting in academic STEM environments, apply appropriate use of space, depicting nouns/verbs and strategies for introducing technical concepts and vocabulary. Explore options for conveying content in conceptually accurate ASL through classifier usage.
This workshop is for interpreters with several years of
experience who may be considering/preparing to take their
EIPA or other certification. The emphasis will be on the use
of classifiers, space, and strategies for more in-depth
processing.
